Bomb blast at Mogadishu airport entrances

The bomb blasts in Mogadishu capital of Somalia near main entrance of airport and seven people have been killed in the blast on the spot. Police said that there are been two bomb blast and gunfires were heard near by airport premises There was a think white smoke have seen iver the city after the blast. Local journalists said at least one of the blasts was detonated by a suicide attacker in a vehicle near a checkpoint. Those killed were believe to include security guards at the checkpoint.

The militant Islamist group, al-Shabab group said that Al Jazeera it was responsible for the attack. The group has been pushed out of most of the main towns it once controlled, but analysts say it remains a potent threat. It has been increasing its attacks ahead of planned elections in Somalia
