Entry fee rose for Monuments

The archaeological survey of India (ASI) has hiked entry fee of ticketed monuments in its hands after 16 years. The entry fee for monuments which have not been announced as world heritage monuments has been enhanced from Rs 5 to rs 15.This is applicable for Indians, cisitors from South Asian association for Regional Cooperation and Bay of Bengal initiative for multisectoral proficient and enonomic cooperations countries.

Visitors from othe countries will be accused Rs 200 per head as opposed to the formerfee  of Rs 100. Apart from 129 other monuments, ASI’s Hyderabad circle has eight ticketed monument Charminar,Golconda, a group of Buddhist monuments in Guntupalli in Krishna District and the Warangal fort, among others.
