Grand Celebrations of the “Telangana Formation Day”

All over Telangana the 2nd birthday is celebrated grandly.On thursday the celebrations had begun with Telangana Chief Minister  Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao paying tributes to the Telangana Martyas Memorial at Gunpark.Then he moved to the Sanjevvaiah park on the banks of the Hussian Sagar wher he hoisted the largest national flag which is set on a pole of about 303 ft.The unfurling of the flag was that Telangana came into existence on this day on 2014 as per the Andhra Pradesh re-organisation act.

Later on he moved to Parade grounds where he participated in the main offcial function.He hoisted the National flag.Speaking at the event he said that all the new districts would come into existence by Dasara festival.He also said that Palamuru lift irrigation scheme and Kaleswaram project has begun and alomost about 90 percent of villages will get purified drinking water by next year.The celebrations are being continued from 2-7th june.

All the historical buildings,government agencies,public places in the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad have been lighted colourfully for the celebrations.A number of cultural programmes have been lined by different Government agencies.The state government has announced awards for number of people for their laudable service in their fields.While the opposition party TDP in Andhra Pradesh has addressed the day as reconstruction day and CM Chandrababu Naidu called for a rally in Vijayawada.
