Heavy rainfall in Hyderabad
Telangana99.com, Hyderabad News: Second consecutive day, with heavy rains flooding streets and low lying areas of the city. Big traffic jams in the city mainly in Dilsukhnagar, Mehdipatnam, IT Sector Gachibowli areas. City received 2 c.m. rain fall.
Information received that more than 10 places trees that had fallen due to the heavy rains. In Tolichowki, near Rumaan Hotel, bikes were left stranded on the road as riders waited for the water to subside. At several places on the Tolichowki to Mehdipatnam road, potholes coupled with storm-water made a dangerous combination. Thunderstorm has been fore cast for twin cities for the next couple of days.
