“Indian of the Year” award goes to SS Rajamouli and Kangana Ranaut
We all know that in 2015 the Tollywood top director SS Rajamouli has been recreating history in Indian box office with his hit film Baahubali all across the world. And one more actress Three times National Award winning actress Kangana Ranaut mesmerized with her character in ” Tanu weds manu returns” both them got CNN group awards “Indian of the year” awards in Delhi yesterday. The CNN-News18 “Indian of the Year” 2015 award by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for their contribution to the field of cinema.
The Legendart director award has been given to SS Rajamouli for “Baahubali: The Beginning”, which grossed over Rs 600 crore at the box office last year. Kangana was given the Special Achievement award for “breaking the glass ceiling in a predominantly male-driven industry.” SS Rajamouli beat his follow nominees like bigs stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to win this award. Now SS Rajamouli created the history in Tollywood industry that Rajamouli name will be in golden letters in the history of Indian Cinema.
