Karimnagar Dairy Products now in Hyderabad
Telangana99.com : Milk and milk products of the Karimnagar Dairy are entered the Hyderabad market. The Karimnagar Dairy milk will be made available in Secunderabad. Later, the sales will be increased depending upon the response from the consumers.
Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies, Etala Rajender, will formally announced the launch of the products in the twin cities at a function in Hyderabad on Sunday. Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar and others were also present.
The Karimnagar Dairy has grown by leaps and bounds during the last one and a half decades. In the year 2000, milk procurement by the dairy was only 13,810 litres per day and now, in 2015, it has reached 1.12 lakh litres per day.
Similarly, milk sales increased from 4,978 litres per day in the year 2000 to 1.06 lakh litres per day in the year 2015.
The dairy turnover also reached Rs. 176.69 crore in 2015 when compared to Rs. 7.19 crore in the year 2000.
Speaking to media, Karimnagar Dairy chairman Ch. Rajeshwara Rao said that they were already selling milk and milk products in Warangal, Medak, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. In order to increase the sales and benefit the farming community, Karimnagar Dairy milk and milk products will also be sold in Hyderabad, he added.
