Mumbai Indians register their third win

After wining with RCB the defending champions Mumbai Indians again continued there wining knock on Kings XI Punjab yesterday at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.

Mumbai Indians put into bat first skipper Rohit Sharma dismissed early but quality knocks from Parthiv Patel and Ambati Rayudu with 137 runs partnership propelled them to a competitive total of 189/6 in 20 overs.

But Kings XI Punjab failed while chasing that score. Glenn Maxwell 39;s 56 provided some hope to Kings XI Punjab but Jasprit Bumrah 39 three wickets pulled the plug from the chase and as a result of that, Mumbai sealed a comfortable win. MI defeat KXIP by 25 runs to register their third win of the tournament.
