Need 2 more platforms in Secunderabad Railway station

Secunderabad: Union labour minister Bandaru Dattatreya submitted proposals for additional 2 platforms in Secunderabad Railway station and  new trains, divisions and terminals for Telangana in the Union Railway Budget. Dattatreya wants the railways to raise Secunderabad railway station to international standards.

MP submitted the proposals to railway minister Suresh Prabhu. Speaking to media “I wanted the railways to construct two more platforms at the Secunderabad railway station,” he said. Besides, Dattatreya said, he wanted bus stations to come up near the railway station. “I proposed that the old Gandhi hospital land  for building a bus station The old Bhoiguda railway quarters land can also be considered for the purpose,” he said.
