TATA Tiago hatchback

Mumbai: Tata Motors launched the Tiago hatchback price of Rs 3.20 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 3.60 lakh for the diesel variant (both prices, ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The base petrol variant costs Rs 3.39 lakh and the base diesel, Rs 4.18 lakh. For the top-end cars, the Tiago XZ petrol at Rs 4.75 lakh is only Rs 35,000 better than the top petrol Alto K10 Rs. 4.4Lakh.

Analysts and dealers say the Tiago hatchback will give the break for the company, which has been struggling with its passenger vehicles business.
