TRS Historical win in GHMC election
Hyderabad: TRS created history by winning 99 divisions in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Elections. This is first time single party winning 99 seats in GHMC elections, TDP-BJP alliance failed in getting votes, they settled to single digit only. Congress situation also very bad, they failed to retain their places.
As usual MIM performed well in old city by winning 44 divisions. Independents filed to win at least one seat. Telangana Information and technology minister KTR did good job in the elections. He is the solo responsible for the victory of TRS in GHMC elections.
AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu campaign did not work for Telugu desam party in the GHMC elections. Loksatta party contested in 27 divisions, but they failed to win single place. Hyderabad voters believed in TRS manifesto and double bed room scheme. People thought to give a chance to TRS to develop Hyderabad.
TRS Cadre is busy in celebrations, KCR may decide Mayor candidate next week.
