IPL 9th Season players auction

Bengaluru: Indian Premiers League 9th season Auction held on Saturday in Bengaluru. The 10 IPL teams took part in auction for 351 players. Pune Super Giants initiated the auction and as everyone expected, Australian all rounder Shane Watson was sold for the highest price which is Rs. 9.5 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh who was bought by Delhi Dare Devils for Rs. 16 crore has now been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs.7 crore. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad competed for Yuvraj. Kevin Peterson of England was sold for Rs.3.5 crore, Team India cricketer Ishant Sharma for Rs.3.8 crore by Pune Super Giants, Ashish Nehra by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs.5.5 crore, Dwayne Smith for Rs.2.3 crore and Dale Steyn for Rs.2.3 crore by Gujarat Lions. Sanju Samson was sold to Delhi Dare Devils for Rs.4.2 crore.
