Telangana RTA ‘M Wallet’ app a hit

The long-awaited app received a mixed response online on the first day. One of the common anomalies pointed out was the absence of digital copy of vehicle insurance papers in the app which are equally important during vehicle checking.

In just two days over 1 Lakh motorists downloaded RTA’s ‘M Wallet’ app which can be used to download and show digital driving licences and RCs. The app lets a user download digital copies of documents like driving license and registration certificate which could be produced before the police and RTA authorities when demanded.

As many as 411 persons of 1,000 people who have downloaded the app on Google Play store have rated it 5 stars against an overall rating of 3.6.
