GITAM Students Hyderabad won National award at LAMSYS-2016

Students from GITAM university Hyderabad of aerospace engineering won an National award in the competitions of "large-scale multi- disciplinary systems of national significance – trends and challenges" (LAMSYS-2016) conference. This National Conference was organized by Indian Society of Systems for Science and Engineering (ISSE), Sriharikota, Chennai Chapter in collaboration with ISRO at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, Sriharikota on 24-25 June 2016. Students from final year Durga Jyoti Bandyopadhyay, Kolachina Akhil, and Rachakonda Manish Kumar participated as a team and won the best poster award, which was based on their final year project under the guidance of assistant professor S. Kishore Kumar. This poster was titled as ‘Design Fabrication and Testing of Solid Rocket Motor Grain.’ About 38 teams across India were short listed for the presentation in this conference. Various IITs, NITs, Deemed and other reputed University students took part on this event.
