Telugu states tops list of “Non-Vegeterian”
According to a India survey revealed that Telangana has the highest proportion of m- at eaters and second is the west Bengal ,3rd is another telugu state Andhra Pradesh.It has been reported that consumption of meat in telugu states represent traditional eating habits of the state people.
As per the National Sample Survey on Household Consumption released in 2014, united Andhra Pradesh had topped in per capita monthly consumption of chicken. Andhra also tops the chart in exporting Buffalo meat and second in Egg production. In meat production, AP is fourth with 5.27 lakh metric tons and Telangana stands sixth with 4.46 lakh MT.
Telangana people consume a lot of lamb and chicken in breakfast and different parts of animals are consumed as gurda(kidneys),paya(trotters),bheja(brain).They even eat rabbits,emu and quail.Whereas Rajasthan,Punjab and Haryana top the states with highest vegeterian population.Thus it proves that Telugus love Non-Vegetarian food the most in India.
